Nestled among the spectacular Rawlinson Ranges 330km west of Uluru, is Warakurna Artists. Located on Ngaanyatjarra country, within Warakurna Community, the Art Centre is a not-for-profit enterprise, fully owned and governed by Aboriginal artists.
Ngaanyatjarra people have deep knowledge and spiritual connection to their country. Artists paint their Tjukurrpa, epic stories that are the foundation for law, culture, and country. Warakurna Artists nurtures and promotes these artists as they contribute to one of the most significant art movements in Australia. The Art Centre is well known for producing innovative and high quality artwork including paintings, prints and bronze sculptures.
