Aboriginal owned and directed, Tangentyere Artists represents artists from the 18 Alice Springs town camp communities. A defining feature of the acrylic paintings is stylistic range, which reflects the artists’ immense cultural diversity. Increasingly, the art centre is known for figurative representations of everyday, urban life. Tangentyere Artists is strongly committed to improving social justice and maintaining the traditional cultures of town camp residents through its art support and marketing services.
