Mungart Boodja Art Centre is the first Aboriginal owned and operated art centre enterprise in Noongar country and is situated in Katanning, in the heart of the Great Southern region of Western Australia.
Mungart Boodja means Jam Tree Country and is symbolic of the Noongar people’s enduring connections to the unique and ancient landscape of the South West. The Jam tree is culturally significant; providing a rich source of bush food & resilient timber used to make traditional artefacts.
