Situated 10kms from Derby on the Gibb River Rd in the West Kimberley, is Mowanjum Art and Culture Centre. To the Mowanjum people, the Worrora, Ngarinyin and Wunumbal, the Wandjina is the supreme Creator, and they continue to paint Wandjina and other creation stories, as they have for millennia on cave walls and bark, and now, canvas and paper.
