Bima Wear is a Tiwi women’s enterprise established 41 years ago in Nguiu, Bathurst Island NT.
Ten Tiwi women currently produce fabrics featuring ceremonial symbols and structures, family and dreaming representations that are central to Tiwi culture.
Bima Wear women produce canvas and paper paintings, fibre woven products, and fine art prints – linocuts, etchings and lithographs.
